Leicestershire opened in 1998 as a one-man operation but proved so successful that a second partner joined after 2 months. “Her time was better invested in the business, than working for someone else”.
This has certainly proved the case with a portfolio in excess of £220k. A recent month’s total invoiced sales exceeded £24,000. This is being achieved by working within exceptionally tight financial constraints. Overhead costs including drawings are covered by contract income whilst direct sales have exceeded £50k in a single year. Contract clients include Next Group, 3M and Walkers Foods.
Currently they employ 1 part-time and 2 full time technicians and have a budgeted turnover of £230k in 2004.
