'Best Website' winner at the Market Awards 2007
March 26th 2007
Urban Planters have scooped the Best Website Award at the FMA Franchise Marketing Awards 2007, which took place at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London on 23rd March 2007.Despite the tough competition from the likes of Domino's Pizza, Dyno Group iSOLD It, and Swisher; Urban Planters waved the flag for interior landscaping and horticulture by beating other industries to the top prize.
Alan Page of Urban Planters remarked: "This award is an excellent acknowledgment of the work both ourselves and our website designers 'Optix Solutions' have put in over the past 18 months. We knew we had a great site when the level of sales enquires rose after the site's launch last summer. However, we are aware that this is no reason for us to become complacent, as websites soon become dated and we therefore need to start looking how this award winning site can evolve".
Urban Planters were also short-listed as a finalist for 'Most Creative Exhibition Stand' award but were pipped to the post by their new strategic partner Totally Dynamic, who has just recently finalised the artwork for Urban Planters' new look vehicle wrapping, which will be launched by the London West franchise later this week.
