You know Spring is coming when you see hints of lime green

Syngonium are pretty plants, there lime green foliage give them a fresh look and contrast well with darker leaved plants when added to a mixed planted bed. They are relatively easy to grow and look after, which makes them a popular choice in the home and workplace. There are over 30 distinct cultivars of Syngonium podophyllum, but they are commonly known as either arrowhead vine, goosefoot plant or white butterfly. Syngonium originate from central America and work really well in hanging containers and living walls. Pinch back shoots regularly to develop a bushy-looking plant.

Health Fact: Syngonium have a relatively high transpiration rate and therefore are a good choice for increasing humidity within a room.

Environment: Syngonium like high-indirect light or medium light, but avoid direct sunlight.  Syngonium are a tropical plant so keep in a temperature range of between 16-24OC.

Care: Keep the soil evenly moist but not wet /soggy from Spring to Autumn and allow the top of the pot to dry out between watering in the winter. Syngoniums love humidity, so mist regularly. to resist pest attack.
