International law firm Stewarts Law approached Urban Planters Leeds directly about a new planting scheme for their offices in the city following a recommendation from an existing client.
They were looking for a scheme which would match the subtle, slick décor of the offices whilst also softening the workspaces.
In the office space, low-lying plants were needed to sit on top of the storage cabinets which divided the desks. To avoid the plants being too intrusive, the selected toughs were only 10cm high and housed low-lying Stromanthe amabilis block planting.
The reception area boasted views across the city, so the planting in the window recesses also needed to be fairly low-lying. So, Urban Planters’s Jayne Potts selected Crassula planted in rows in stainless steel troughs, ensuring no displays exceeded a metre in height.
Finally, in the clients’ waiting area, the plant displays were designed to blend into the contemporary surroundings, with white planters sat against white walls and housing the simple but striking forms of Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Laurentii’.
After much change from us on which plant we would like, Jayne and Richard attended our offices to install the new plants in our open area, which they did brilliantly, ensuring there was no disruption to our working day.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Urban Planters, as they provide a great service, with minimal fuss. They are easy to contact and are very prompt and professional at carrying out any needs that are necessary.
