Wynne Construction – Coleg Cambria

When Coleg Cambria set out to build its new health and wellbeing facility, the brief was ambitious: create a learning environment for its students that felt genuinely authentic and luxurious, that was functional, but also fresh and exciting. 

In the stunning spa reception, we created a bespoke preserved moss wall as the centerpiece. This presented a fantastic design, by seamlessly integrating a unique, rigid stainless steel tree logo directly into the soft, organic moss. It was a true test of precision, demanding incredibly close collaboration with specialist signage contractors to get that flawless, high-end finish.

In the main atrium, we tackled a different challenge of pure scale. We designed a dramatic, replica green wall to span the full height of the space. This was a major logistical undertaking. It required specialist access and meticulous design planning to ensure it integrated perfectly with all the other contractors working on a very busy site. 

In the end, these statement green walls, combined with custom joinery planters, came together beautifully to create the cohesive, inspiring atmosphere the college was hoping for, which was a truly authentic, luxury experience for students and their future clients.
