When InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) started its global re-launch of the Holiday Inn brand family, they came to Urban Planters to help build a brand statement at each of the hotels.
The re-launch was designed to create a more contemporary brand image, increase quality and drive consistency.
Urban Planters supported the re-branding with new landscaping features in the form of simple and stylish exterior plant displays for the front of house of each and every hotel and a a set of planters for each brand consisting of a set of six planters, three different size containers, all in a specific ‘Oatmeal’ colour for the brand or ‘anthracite’ if a listed building. This new “Hallmark” planting would then be rolled out across the globe.
We supported IHG at their “Hallmark” launch show so all hotel operators could see the new products they would need to install and answer any questions people had.
We have since worked over several years and to date on either supplying and/or installing the planters with the option of ongoing maintenance for all of the hotels in the UK.
We continue to support IHG with additional services on their internal planting, reception floral displays, Christmas displays and external grounds maintenance.
