Health & Safety Policy
Urban Planters recognises and accepts its health and safety duties for providing a safe and healthy working environment, (as far as is reasonably practicable), for all its workers, (paid or volunteer), and other visitors to its premises under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, other relevant legislation and common law duties of care.

To this end we have implemented an Occupational Health and Safety management system (OHSAS) that meets the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard, to help control our OH&S risks and continuously improve our safe working performance.

Quality & Environmental Policy
Urban Planters maintains and continuously improves its Policy and Management systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. This policy is based on the fundamental principles of measuring and planning for continual improvement and is the governing document for setting improvement targets.

Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Urban Planters operate under a franchise model. The current turnover of the franchisor (Urban Planters Franchise Ltd) is below the £36m threshold that requires us to produce a slavery and human trafficking statement.

Equality Policy
Urban Planters are committed to treating people both inside and outside the Company with equal fairness and respect regardless of an individual’s sexual orientation, religion or belief; as well as their gender, age, race and whether or not they have a disability.

Bullying, Harassment and Victimisation Policy
As part of its overall commitment to equality of opportunity and valuing diversity, Urban Planters is committed to promoting and ensuring a working environment where individuals are treated with respect and courtesy. Harassment, bullying and/or victimisation detracts from a productive working environment and can affect the health, confidence, morale and performance of those affected by it, including anyone who witnesses, or has knowledge of, the unwanted behaviour.

Employee Development & Training Policy
Employee development, which includes all aspects of training, is a key objective within Urban Planters. The aim of this policy and its associated procedures is to provide a working environment in which staff are able to maximise their performance, commitment and contribution to the aims of the Company.

Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
We recognise that we must integrate our business values and operations to meet the expectations of our stakeholders. They include our Franchisees, customers, employees, investors, suppliers, contractors, the community and our living environment.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy
Urban Planters values its reputation and is committed to maintaining the highest level of ethical standards in the conduct of its business affairs. The actions and conduct of the firm’s staff as well as others acting on the firm’s behalf are key to maintaining these standards.

Whistle Blowing Policy
Urban Planters recognises the importance of having in place an effective and confidential channel of communication to allow employees to bring matters of concern, whether operational or personal, to the attention of senior management to enable Urban Planters to investigate fully and take appropriate corrective action.
