The historic Exchange Station in Liverpool is a landmark building in the busy city and it needed a fresh new planting scheme to compliment its latest look, as a high-quality office space.
The building is steeped in history, dating back to the mid-1800s, when it started life was a busy city centre railway station. Since its closure as a mainline terminal station, it has been reinvented as a hotel, then as offices, called Mercury Court, and now as the prestigious Exchange Station offices.
The building has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and Urban Planters Cheshire, Liverpool and Manchester convinced the client that they were the best people to design a planting scheme fit for the new office décor, after keeping in touch with them throughout the refurbishment.
In total, we supplied planting throughout the ground floor as well as 31 displays on the landing areas.
We also brought a stylish festive feel to the grand building at Christmas, with a range of top quality decorations which picked out colours in the décor.
